The stories in this book are all based on my own experiences from my early years as an eight year old growing up in the west end of Toronto in 1950 to the present day. The stories are often humourous and born out of mistakes and develop through responses to those mistakes. The early stories take us back to a kinder, gentler time when life was simpler and more innocent. They are intended to be entertaining, to provide a clear moral, provoke thought and to help the reader to discover and appreciate the beauty and wonder that life has to offer.
